
Arizona Gems Cheer and Dance
Recreational Cheer Program – Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: June 1, 2022
By enrolling in the Recreational Cheer Program at Arizona Gems Cheer and Dance, you (“the participant” or “parent/guardian”) agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Enrollment & Payment

Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your athlete’s spot in the session.

Sessions are offered in seasonal blocks and cannot be prorated due to missed classes.

Payments may be made online, in person, or through an approved payment method.
2. No Refund Policy
All payments for recreational cheer are non-refundable.
This includes but is not limited to:

Missed classes
-
Voluntary withdrawal
-
Injury or illness
-
Dismissal due to behavioral issues

Conflicts with other activities or personal schedules
We reserve your child’s spot and hire staff based on confirmed enrollments; therefore, no credits or refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
3. Attendance & Make-Ups

Consistent attendance is expected for team development and performance preparation.

Make-up classes are not guaranteed and may be offered only at the discretion of the program director and based on availability.
4. Code of Conduct

Athletes must show respect to coaches, teammates, staff, and facilities at all times.

Disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from the program without refund.

Parents/guardians must communicate respectfully with staff and follow program guidelines.
5. Media Release
By enrolling, you grant Arizona Gems Cheer and Dance the right to use photographs or video of your child for promotional purposes (social media, website, flyers, etc.).
You may opt out in writing before the session begins.
6. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Cheerleading is a physical activity with inherent risks. By enrolling, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree not to hold Arizona Gems Cheer and Dance, its staff, or affiliates liable for any injuries sustained during participation.
7. Emergency Policy
In the event of a medical emergency, you authorize staff to seek emergency treatment on your child’s behalf if a parent/guardian cannot be reached immediately.
8. Policy Acknowledgment
By submitting registration and payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, including the No Refund Policy.
